This policy describes the Linkorune iPhone/iPad game, its support correspondence and the website at linkorune.com. Linkorune is published and supported by an individual developer. Use the contact below for support and privacy questions.
Game data stays on your device
Linkorune is an offline learning game. Its console simulates networking commands in fictional labs and does not connect to real equipment. No player account is required.
The game stores mission progress, hero choice, location, simulated configurations, earned rewards, headquarters construction, cosmetics, crew/story progress, Echo and contract progress, and preferences such as sound and motion. Typed commands are processed on device; console text and command history are kept during the session.
The current game has no advertising SDK, analytics service, multiplayer service, remote AI service or automatic gameplay upload. PIP and the training assistant use authored offline behavior. The game does not ask for your real name, email, birth date, contacts, precise location, photos, camera or microphone.
Apple may process purchases, diagnostics or device backups under your settings and Apple’s policies. Linkorune has no publisher-operated cloud-save service. Device backups may contain local game data.
Information you choose to email
If you contact rasping.piper_5k@icloud.com, the publisher and email providers receive your email address, message and any details or attachments you send. This information is used to answer your request, investigate a problem, provide support and handle privacy requests.
Email providers process support correspondence to deliver and store messages. We use it to respond to your request and may disclose it when required by law. We do not sell support information or use it for advertising or a marketing mailing list. Please send only what is needed to explain the issue, without real credentials, sensitive configurations or full device backups.
Website hosting and external services
This website is hosted through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes ordinary connection and request information needed to deliver and protect it. This can include IP addresses and traffic-routing information. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its processing practices.
We do not embed advertising, analytics, contact forms or third-party fonts in these pages. The site code does not set cookies or use browser storage. Cloudflare may process operational records and use security features independently of the static page code, under its own policies.
Opening an email link uses your email application. Opening an external link connects your browser to that provider, whose own practices apply. Visiting the website does not upload local game progress.
Retention, deletion and your choices
Local game records remain until removed, replaced or restored through the app or operating system. Delete App removes the installed app and local data; Offload App retains documents and data. A chapter restart resets that chapter rather than every saved record. Deleting the app does not promise to erase independent Apple/device backups, purchase records or emails. A restored backup may restore earlier progress.
We retain support correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to handle the request, investigate related issues or meet applicable legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it. Provider backups and records follow their own retention practices.
To ask about information you have sent to support, request correction or request deletion, email the contact below. We may need enough information to identify the relevant correspondence and verify the request. Do not send identity documents unless a specific lawful need has first been explained. Applicable legal requirements may affect what can be removed. There is no online player account or publisher-operated gameplay database to delete.
Young players
Linkorune is intended for teens and adults studying networking. It has no player chat, child accounts, birth-date collection or features asking children to submit personal information. Parents and guardians should supervise external websites and support messages. If a child has sent personal information to support, a parent or guardian can contact the publisher to request review and deletion as appropriate.
The App Store content rating is a separate questionnaire and review; it is not a substitute for these privacy practices.
